Technology Strategy & Planning | Organizational Development | Marketing | Interactive & Web Services | Workshops & Trainings
Joel has been helping nonprofits, INGO and higher-ed organizations for 15+ years through planning, coordinating, and directing various project, program and product development initiatives, leveraging the best of what web technologies can provide. With his deep roots in creative discovery, website design and development, and having run his own services organization for 18 years (Fuse IQ), he helps his clients understand all aspects of digital experiences and technology options to ensure they are providing the best for their communities.
Often what Joel provides is an understanding of technology as a solution, as an enabler. This results in validated roadmaps with improved budgeting and planning, as well as team structuring and implementation schedules.
Joel also provides leadership and coaching to team members for execution of multiple key tasks, such as web design, technology implementation, marketing, content creation, and community building.
A sampling of clients Joel has helped in these capacities include: Child Care Resources, UW Medicine, UW Department of Global Health, UN Women, UNDP Climate Change Group, YWCA Seattle, ACLU, United Way, FareStart, The Everett Clinic, Cambia Health Solutions, Art Institute of Chicago, Seattle Housing Authority, Goodwill, The Mountaineers, NW Harvest, Raikes Foundation, Waste Management NW, Climate Solutions, and Chihuly Studio.
