Managing Partner of Seattle-based Sharp Consulting Group LLC, Dave Sharp develops strategic marketing plans and helps create marketing partnerships/alliances with non-profit organizations, socially responsible corporations, government agencies and major media groups throughout North America.
Dave has more than 25 years experience leading marketing initiatives with some of the world’s best marketers—including Campbell Soup, Caterpillar, Paccar, Airborne Express (DHL), Domino’s Pizza, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, US Bank and Starbucks, and more. His experience includes positions with Fortune 500 corporations, global communications agencies and major multi-media (television, cable, and web) groups.
As a consultant, Dave has developed marketing plans, strategies and programs to help more than 120 non-profit -organizations and government agencies achieve their long-term and short-term marketing goals.
Dave earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Bradley University and a Master's Degree from the School of Communications, University of Illinois.
His not-for-profit experience includes work with Pacific Science Center, Woodland Park Zoo, NW Trek, Seattle Opera, Seattle Art Museum, The Giraffe Project, International Snow Leopard Trust, King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Virginia Mason, Group Health Cooperative, American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Providence Hospice, Life Long AIDS, Puget Sound Alzheimer’s Association, and more.
Dave’s work with government clients include Washington Department of Transportation, Department of Ecology, Governor’s Commission on Early Learning, Department of Trade & Economic Development, Washington Tourism, Department of Energy, Washington Traffic Safety Commission, Department of Social & Health Services/ Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Environmental Protection Association (EPA), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), Center for Disease Control (CDC) and others.
