Laura Retzler leads searches for executive and development directors. Ms. Retzler specializes in recruiting because she believes that finding and keeping talented employees is one of the most pressing problems facing the nonprofit sector.
Prior to becoming a nonprofit recruiter, Ms. Retzler spent a decade serving in the roles that her clients now hire her to fill—serving as a nonprofit executive, a development director, and a fundraising consultant with The Collins Group. She has an MA in Public Policy and Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Political Science and Russian from The University of Iowa.
