Since 1988, Janet Boguch has been owner and principal of Non-Profit Works, a nonprofit management and organization development-consulting firm. The mission of her firm is to assist individuals and organizations to reach their highest potential and to ensure the health and stability of the nonprofit and public service sectors through consultation, technical assistance, facilitation, training, leadership coaching and key note presentations.
Over 300 nonprofit organizations of all types and thousands of volunteers have been served by Janet in areas such as strategic planning, board development, leadership and team dynamics, organizational change and all aspects of fundraising. Because of her commitment to and passion for leadership development, education and the nonprofit sector, she has been teaching nonprofit management and related topics at universities and colleges for over 18 years. She is core faculty for the University of Washington's Fundraising Management and Nonprofit Management Certificate Programs and for Seattle University's Executive Masters of Not-for-Profit Leadership Graduate Degree program. deleted SCCC sentence.
She excels at facilitating peer learning groups and for 16 years has led TableTalks Seminars for Nonprofit Professionals. Different groups of executive directors, senior managers, development/fundraising professionals meet monthly in a confidential setting to share ideas and solve organizational problems. BoardTalks Seminars are designed exclusively for nonprofit board members to learn together to strengthen their boards and organizations.

Janet has received several distinguished leadership awards including the Eddie Carlson Leadership Tomorrow Award, Business Volunteers for the Arts Award and the Professional Achievement Award from NDOA/Northwest Development Officers Association.
She has served on several human service, arts and professional association boards nonprofit boards, as well as serving as a King County Arts Commissioner.
