Managing Partner of Seattle-based Sharp Consulting Group LLC, Dave Sharp develops strategic marketing plans and helps create alliances/partnerships with government agencies, non-profit organizations and media groups throughout the U.S. Dave has more than 25 years experience leading marketing initiatives with some of the world’s best corporate marketers—including Campbell Soup, Caterpillar, Ford, Paccar, Airborne Express, Dominoes Pizza, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Eddie Bauer, among others. His experience includes positions with Fortune 500 corporations, global advertising agencies and a major North American media (television, cable, and web) company.
As a consultant Dave has developed marketing plans, strategies and programs to help more than 100 non-profit -organizations and government agencies achieve their long-term and short-term marketing goals. His not-for-profit client experience includes work with clients including Pacific Science Center, Woodland Park Zoo, NW Trek, Seattle Opera, Seattle Art Museum, The Giraffe Project, International Snow Leopard Trust, King County Sexual Assault Resource Center, Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center, Virginia Mason Hospital & Medical Center, Group Health Cooperative, American Lung Association, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Resolve, Life Long AIDS, Center for Disease Control, King County Library System, Puget Sound Alzheimer’s Association among others. Dave’s work with government clients include Washington Department of Transportation, Department of Ecology, Governor’s Commission on Early Learning, Washington State Lottery, Washington Department of Trade & Economic Development, Washington Tourism, Washington State Film Office, Washington Department of Energy, Washington State Department of Licensing, Washington Traffic Safety Commission, Washington State Patrol, and Washington Department of Social & Health Services/ Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse.
Dave earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Bradley University, Peoria Illinois. He received his Master's Degree from the School of Communications, University of Illinois.
